Happy Monday (and Christmas week for those who celebrate)!
I have a holiday playlist to get you in the spirit and a few links worth checking out. ICYMI, Yap Year will be taking the last two weeks of the year semi-off. I will be sending a playlist (and sometimes links) on Mondays. We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming in January. <3

Every Monday letter gets a playlist. Today, an offering of (I think) underrated holiday pop songs.
In this week’s playlist:
One I’ve Been Missing - Little Mix
This Christmas - Tori Kelly
Fa La La - Justin Bieber ft. Boyz II Men
Wintering - The 1975
Last Christmas - Remi Wolf
Wit It This Christmas - Ariana Grande
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - Mariah Carey
is it new years yet? - Sabrina Carpenter

Other things I want to share with you.
I missed this a couple weeks ago but felt it was worth sharing now: Pinterest Predicts 2026. Taking a look at all of trends, it affirmed what many people have been feeling: We’re swinging back toward a maximalist, creative time in culture — which makes Pantone’s latest color of the year even more perplexing. Anyways, this is a very fun report. I love that we’re leaning back into textures, bold colors, and physical media.
Nicki Minaj is getting major heat for appearing on stage with Erika Kirk at a recent Turning Point USA event, which further solidified her MAGA turn.
I really loved this piece on Gen Z’s financial nihilism.
Boy Throb and Dax Flame did a collab. I don’t know whose idea that was but it was genius.
