Plus soooo much influencer drama this week that I can hardly keep up.

Hi everyone. I’ll be brave and honest by admitting that I wasn’t convinced to watch Severance when it debuted in 2022.
However, it was only a matter of time before the mysterious and important work hooked me in. After seeing clips of John Turturro’s performance in episode 204, I was locked in.
I binged the first season and watched this second season every week after catching up. Now that the season is over, there’s a melon head-sized hole in my heart that won’t be filled until we get a release date for the next one.
For now, I fill the void with fan theories, which have really enhanced the viewing experience, as we’ll discuss in today’s letter. I chatted with two creators who have dissected Severance on their YouTube channels.
There’s also a lot of drama with influencers this week. It’s all making me think about the current state of “cancel culture” — if we can even still call it that. I linked the latest below in today’s Yap Sesh for paid subscribers. If you haven’t already, upgrade to the Yapper tier so you don’t miss out.
